| A new Bavaria 44 was
purchased by the Club in January 2004. The yacht provides comfortable
accommodation for 8 people. It is easy to sail, having all lines led
back to the cockpit as well as a furling headsail. There is a step-through
stern with a boarding platform at water level.
Bavaria yachts are
built in Germany according to the specifications and on-site supervision
of Germanischer-Lloyd.
The yacht is professionally
maintained, and kept up to Category 1 of the Australian Yachting
Federation ocean racing safety regulations.
